Can Vegas finish the job here? The Golden Knights dominated most of Game 4 before having to hold on down the stretch, which says two different things about where this series sits. First, the Panthers haven’t thrown in the towel on their chances, as they managed to fight back from 3-0 down to get back to 3-2 before succumbing.
That’s not sustainable long-term for Florida. The Panthers have to either close down the Vegas man advantage, stop giving up so many power plays or get a few power play goals of their own. If they can’t do any of the three, this series will be in prime position to end on Tuesday in Nevada.
If the Panthers don’t come out with a better effort this time, this series isn’t going to last much longer.
