The Lakers won two of the final three games going into the break and are 27-32 with a lot of work to do if they want to make a run at the playoffs. However, the new LeBron James-Anthony Davis-D’Angelo Russell core played pretty well, so there is certainly hope in LA.Â
The Warriors still don’t have Stephen Curry in the lineup. In his absence, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson have been shouldering the load, but one or both of Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green need to step up before the Warriors fall out of the playoff race.Â
