I’m loving some Dodger blue with Dustin May who wins games – he’s 4-1. 

Meanwhile, whiney little snowflake Blake Snell, who didn’t like Kevin Cash in Tampa because he said he was mean, is coughing up hairballs at 1-5. Oh, and he didn’t want to play during Covid. Too scary! Poor Blakey, go home to mommy.

Birdies have won two straight and six of ten. The Pirates are a sinking ship: they’ve dropped two in a row and nine of the last ten. The Pirates are cold as Alaska and searching for warmer waters.

Let’s be frank: Gerrit Cole, arguably the best pitcher in baseball right now, blew a 6-0 lead to the Rays on Sunday.Tampa’s hitters swung at a first-pitch fastball all game, and got to him in the bottom of the sixth. Cole got stubborn, like the old Sam McDowell with Cleveland in the 60’s and kept throwing dead-red. Dumb. 

He’s fumed about that all week. Redemption. It won’t happen twice. 

Astros (-155) at White Sox 

Houston’s 28-year-old rookie J.P. France pitched five scoreless innings at Seattle in his major league debut last Saturday. Can he do it again? Will Jose Abreu finally break out against his old team? Do the White Sox still suck?
