Gerrit Cole getting an old fashioned ass whupping by the White Sox was not in our calculations. The Yankees are a pathetic club right now. I am staying away. Our 1-2 scorebook last night cost us another minus -$165 and now we are down minus – $290 for the season. We need to get out tonight! Look ahead, not backwards. I’m feeling it tonight!
Houston (-125) at Birds
Who’s king?
The Birds have dethroned the Rays, beat up on the Yankees, made mincemeat out of the Red Sox and ate Blue Jays for breakfast. Are the reigning champs next? This should be an awesome series. Houston, now three games back of Texas, can’t leave Maryland six games back. Texas has won seven in a row, and it’s about to be eight tonight in Oakland.
Framber Valdez needs to take control of this game from the get-go and the Astros have to make a statement. I’ll go with the champs.

I will bet the Jays until they lose. This team is firing on all cylinders right now. We always knew they had the roster. Now they are proving it.

Do you really think Pittsburgh beats Atlanta two straight? I didn’t think so.

Texas At Oakland (-240)
Wow. I can’t believe I am laying -240. What’s the difference if you win? We are at a point in the season where just about everything is a known quantity. Do you know that over the last twelve years in MLB teams favored by -240 or more are 112-28 with an ROI of plus over 10 percent? Down the stretch, the favorites win. The Rangers have reeled off seven straight, tonight’s it’s eight.
Giants (+105) at Angels
The Angels are in full collapse. They have dropped seven straight and some of their late inning losses have been horrific. Their bullpen is a dumpster fire. Protecting a 3-2 lead over San Francisco last night going into the ninth, they spit up six runs, and lost 8-3. This team is finished. Fade them, Ohtoni or not.
