The Word

Sunday Night Football is where the squares chases their losses and the pros cash out. #NoPickNate is rolling right through to another winning weekend. Jack is struggling to find optimism is him lame picks and the Godzilla is on a bus tour firing off his picks like Russian missiles. We are absolutely jacked for this Sunday night game. Can the Colts keep it close? Is Jeff Saturday a real coach? How good is Tony Pollard? Why does mike McCarthy torture us so?

Chase your losses with us this Sunday night as Indy takes on Dallas. Read our much maligned analysis below!

Nate: Fade Your Favorite Team

Colts have seemed to find themselves as a run-heavy offense and are playing much better after hiring Jeff Saturday.

This could be a problem against the Cowboys. The one exploitable part of the Cowboys defense is the run defense. So, if the Colts can establish that, they should be able to hang around.

The way this game feels like it lays out is with both teams running the ball and keeping the clock moving.

I’ll take the underdog in that scenario.

Jack: The Under Machine

Jeff Saturday’s clock mismanagement skills saved my point total teaser last week on Monday Night Football. Go, Jeff!

The Colts are playing much better under Saturday as they’ve re-established the running game and limited the Matt Ryan mistake factory. The Colts are 3-1 when Ryan doesn’t turn the ball over so look for the Colts to attempt to control the clock with Johnathan Taylor, play slow, and pray to the good lord above that Ryan doesn’t throw three picks.

That could be tricky with this Dallas defense.

The Cowboys should dominate on the defensive front. The Colts still don’t have much of an offensive line and Micah Parsons will eat up Ryan’s immobility. The Colts defense can do enough in this game to get some stops. The Cowboys will slow down once they’ve built a comfortable lead.

I don’t trust Saturday to keep this game within 10, but I like the under at 44.5.

John: Colts Suck!

The Jeff Saturday boomlet has come crashing down. The Colts are not going to stop Dak. I’m cringing at the thought of washed-up wobbly kneed-man Matt Ryan staring at Parsons all night coming straight at him. He has the mobility of a rusted-out Edsel. He’ll be benched in the 2nd Q after two fumbles and five sacks. Blow out.

Cowboys -10.5
