Giants at S.F. (-10.5)
The New York Football Giants and Daniel Joke Jones opened their season with a 40-0 shellacking at the hands of the Cowboys in New Jersey. Nice start.
Then they flew west and took on the hapless, rudderless, coach-less, culture-less Arizona Cardinals. They got down 20-0 early to a likely 2-15 team.
So let me get this straight: the Giants were outscored 60-0 in the first six quarters of the 2023 NFL season.
Then the Cardinals started to do what they do (make turnovers and lose) and the Giants made a miraculous comeback. Yawn.
The Forty-Niners are for real. Their defense rivals Dallas and now they are favored to win the Super Bowl.
While 10.5 points is a lot of wood on a Thursday night, San Francisco is the superior team. This is going to be a blow-out. The Giants are not a very good football team, and that 60-0 six quarters is hard to forget.
